Founder and CEO, Thought Leadership Leverage
Thought Leadership Expert & Author

Peter Winick has always been drawn to books, business strategy, and enterprise sales. That combination took him from founding a multi-restaurant delivery company in the 1990s to the thought leadership expert he is today.
Peter orchestrated a rollup of the delivery business and exited. He then helped restructure Rogen International — an Australian L&D firm — shifting their model from open enrollment to high-value, just-in-time presentation skill support.
When Keith Ferrazzi published Never Eat Alone in 2005, Peter wrote him a note, suggesting there was an enterprise sales opportunity for Keith’s ideas. A few meetings later, Peter was Managing Director at Ferrazzi Greenlight, building Keith’s keynote speaking and professional development businesses.
Peter is the founder and CEO of Thought Leadership Leverage (TLL). Since 2008, he and the team have helped thought leaders take their ideas to scale and generate revenue and impact.
His clients have included NYT bestselling authors, Fortune 500 CEOs, Speakers’ Hall of Fame inductees, Thinkers50 award winners, and academics from Yale, Wharton, Harvard, Stanford, and London Business School. He’s also worked with emerging thought leaders — people who have given their first talk or written their first article and need to build a thought leadership strategy.
Peter co-hosts the Leveraging Thought Leadership podcast with Bill Sherman, teaches courses on LinkedIn Learning, and co-authored The Thought Leadership Handbook with Bill Sherman and Naren Aryal.
Peter holds a B.A. in Economics from Hofstra University and lives in Plainview, New York.
Thought Leadership Leverage is the firm Peter built to do for others what he’d been doing his entire career — help thought leaders scale and monetize their ideas by reaching the right audiences and building businesses around their expertise.
The Thought Leadership Handbook: How the Experts Elevate Their Big Ideas — and How You Can Too. The book draws on decades of combined experience helping authors, speakers, and leaders build thought leadership platforms that last. Co-authored by Bill Sherman, Peter Winick, and Naren Aryal. Published July 2026 by Amplify Publishing.
“If you want to be taken seriously as a thought leader, read this book.”

“This book makes it clear why Bill, Peter, and Naren are already trusted by so many thought leaders. They’ve seen what actually works and distilled those lessons into practical, actionable steps. The result is a durable framework for meaningful success. This book is essential!”

“You don’t need more followers. You need more impact. I’ve seen brilliant minds stall out because they never built systems to spread their ideas. This book hands you the tools to build reach, relevance, and revenue without wasting time.”

“Many books celebrate ideas; far fewer show how to steward them responsibly into the world. The Thought Leadership Handbook stands out for the clarity, rigor, and real-world wisdom it brings to scaling meaningful ideas while honoring their integrity. It is an exceptional and timely guide for anyone serious about moving ideas from insight to enterprise, and from aspiration to lasting impact and meaningful contribution.”

“Thought leadership isn’t about being louder. It’s about being worth listening to. In The Thought Leadership Handbook, Bill, Peter, and Naren cut through the noise to show what real thought leadership looks like, rooted in clarity, responsibility, and service. This book will help you see patterns you can’t see alone, understand why your ideas matter, and recognize the duty that comes with sharing them. Because influence isn’t something you take. It’s something people give you when they feel understood.”

“If you’re an expert eager to share your insights with a wider audience, buy this book, use it, and watch your influence grow! Bill Sherman, Peter Winick, and Naren Aryal have been guiding leadership experts for decades. Their book is the most comprehensive, practical, and inspiring resource I’ve seen on sharing your message with the world.”
